✅ Application fee – BDT 1,500
➡️ Admission notice for the 18th batch of the Bachelor of Science in Health Technology (Laboratory) course.
➡️ Under the University of Dhaka, students will be admitted to the 1st year of the Bachelor of Science in Health Technology (Laboratory) course for the academic year 2025–2026 at Bangladesh Shishu Hospital & Institute.
➡️ This is a 4 (four) year duration course, and students will be admitted subject to the following conditions.
Eligibility Conditions
✅ 1. Educational Qualification:
Only candidates who passed HSC or equivalent examinations in 2022, 2023, or 2024 from the Science group (Biology is compulsory) are eligible to apply.
✅ 2. Minimum GPA:
The combined GPA of SSC and HSC must be at least 5.00. Applications below this will not be accepted.
Candidates who have passed a relevant diploma may also apply (Science group and Biology in SSC are mandatory).
Application Procedure
✅ 3. Application Form:
The application form can be collected from the institute office and the institute website.
Along with the application form, a Pay Order/Bank Draft of BDT 1,500 (non-refundable) in favor of
“Bangladesh Shishu Hospital & Institute (Academic), Dhaka”, payable at Bangladesh Krishi Bank, Shyamoli Branch, must be submitted to the institute office.
Applications without Pay Order/Bank Draft will not be accepted.
✅ 4. Employed Candidates:
Candidates working in government, autonomous, or private organizations must apply through proper authority.
Required Documents
✅ 5. The following documents must be submitted with the application:
a. Attested photocopy of a certificate from the local Union Parishad Chairman or Municipality Chairman regarding the candidate’s permanent address.
b. Attested photocopies of SSC and HSC academic transcripts and certificates.
c. For diploma holders: Attested photocopies of diploma certificate/temporary certificate and mark sheets issued by
Bangladesh State Medical Faculty and Bangladesh Technical Education Board.
d. Three (03) recent passport-size color photographs (attested).
Other Conditions
✅ 6. Age Limit:
For diploma holders, the maximum age limit is 45 years.
✅ 7. Hostel Facility:
There is no hostel facility for students in this institute.
✅ 8. Allowance:
No allowance will be provided to admission candidates.
✅ 9. Incomplete Applications:
Incomplete or incorrect applications will be considered cancelled.
Fees & Stipend
✅ Total cost of study at this institute is BDT 99,000, and it can be paid in installments every year.
In the 4th year, each student will receive a monthly stipend of BDT 8,000.
